        SYSTEM HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS/REVISIONS
=============================================================================

- This package supports Production level, Beta level, or equivalent reworked alpha Systems only
  DO NOT INSTALL on Factory level Alpha systems.

- BMC firmware rev 01.17.4151 MUST be preinstalled prior to installing
  this FRU/SDR package.

- BIOS Rev 01.06.0002 or later

                      IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES
=============================================================================

            INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
=============================================================================

1. Ensure BMC and BIOS listed above or later are pre-installed
   before attempting this FRU/SDR update.

2. Copy all of the files in the zip archive to a USB key, hard disk drive or
   floppy drive.  All of the files in this zip archive must reside in the 
   same directory.

3. Boot to EFI shell, change to the directory containing the update files 
   from step 2 and then run the following command to bring up the main
   FRU/SDR load menu:

	FRUSDR /cfg master.cfg

4. Select the option which is applicable to what you want to do. 
   By selecting to reprogram the FRU data you will be given the option
   to input data from the keyboard into various chassis, board and product
   areas.

5. Once the package has finished its installation, DC power off the system and
   then cycle AC power.

                           KNOWN ISSUES/WORKAROUNDS
=============================================================================

- Fan speed control is now based on the Front Panel Temperature sensor.  This
  version will not support fan speed control in Alpha systems unless the Front
  Panel hardware rework has been completed.

- TAM PWR LED not illuminated when input power lost to one PS module in

- Update Fan Scaling Record with changes for BMC 1.10.3656
