NOTES

The Intel_FactoryPDK portion is a set of factory utilities that can be
used by an Intel customer or OEM that has an Non-Disclosure Agreement
with Intel. This is not to be re-distributed.

The Intel_PDK is governed by the standard Intel license and can be
re-distributed under the terms of the Intel_PDK-license.pdf.

The PDK 1.0 release has a restriction for the megaide and megasr Software
RAID drivers in the current version that does not allow for automated
creation of the RAID volumes with the command-line tools. The Software
RAID volumes can be created with the BIOS Setup menus, however.
New versions of the Software RAID drivers will be forthcoming which will
include the ability to create those RAID volumes automatically.
This does not apply to the S5000 Hardware RAID megasr driver,
which can create RAID volumes with the automated scripts.

Note that the kiratool for RMM2 is not approved for export at this time,
so it has been removed from the PDK until it is approved. This may pose a
limitation on S5000 servers which have RMM2 hardware installed, so
deployment of RMM2 cards should wait until this is resolved.

The sample SLAX ISO image does not include a valid megaide.ko or megasr.ko
software RAID driver, but the PDK does include pre-built megasr/megaide
drivers for RedHat EL kernels.
